Job Overview
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented individual to fill the KYC Advisor position, responsible for managing customer onboarding, reviewing KYC documentation, ensuring policy compliance, conducting daily report checks, performing AML screenings, and investigating potential risk clients. This role requires a strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough customer due diligence checks to verify the identity and assess the risk of new and existing customers
- Review and analyse customer documentation, financial statements, and other relevant information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and assign risk ratings to customers based on factors such as the nature of the business, source of funds, and political exposure
- Monitor customer accounts and transactions on an ongoing basis for suspicious activities and potential money laundering or fraud
- Investigate and escalate any identified red flags or suspicious transactions for further analysis and reporting
- Develop and maintain internal KYC policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as compliance officers, legal teams, and risk management, to address compliance issues and implement necessary measures
- Utilise KYC-related tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in customer onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Business or any other relevant field is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role as KYC Advisor/Officer
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English language is a must
- Excellent knowledge of KYC and AML procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
- Analytical and investigative skills to identify red flags and suspicious activities
- Attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Effective time management skills, enabling prioritisation and timely completion of tasks
- Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently and taking initiative
- Strong problem-solving abilities, enjoying the challenge of uncovering relevant information and drawing conclusions
