Checkout.com is actively looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Office Coordinator to take care of the smooth running and general happiness of our fast-growing Mauritius office.

You will be responsible for the upkeep of our office, ensuring we are fully stocked in our kitchen and meeting rooms. This role requires a‘can-do’ attitude, always thinking two steps ahead and an approachable and friendly personality. This role also provides a great opportunity for progression and growth.

You must be comfortable working independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment, as well as interacting with people at all levels across the company.

About You

  • 2+ years previous working experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the H&S legislation would be a definite advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Facility Management qualification desirable
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel
  • Ability to analyse financial data
  • Solid knowledge of workplace trends
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements seamlessly
  • Resourceful at coming up with creative ideas
  • Highly organised and resourceful Your People Acquisition Team
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive, always thinking one step ahead
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on, always ready to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile for the team

What you will be doing

  • Support the planning and implementation of People Experience projects
  • Manage lease documentation
  • Assist with team budget administration
  • Manage contract documentation
  • Prepare engaging presentations to be used across all levels of the business
  • Support with administrative duties
  • Maintain team intranet content
  • Prepare reports on key team metrics
  • Identify opportunities for improved performance and productivity of our office
  • Work with key members of the team and the wider business to roll out new strategies that will increase efficiencies to our day-to-day Facilities Management operations.
