The Field Sales amp; Technical Support Manager will be responsible of:
- Profitably sell fuels and Lubricants
- Be the Technical expert on Lubricants amp; Fuels
- Ensure that HSSE standards are met and adhered to from the customer recruitment stage to product usage by customer.
- Provide an efficient, professional technical support service for Fuels and Lubricants with a view to ensure smooth operations of customer equipment.
- Contribute to the development, the implementation and the effective delivery of fuels and lubricants competitive CVPs within the country
Position Accountabilities
Sales Focus Role
- To achieve volumes and profitability targets.
- Sell the whole VEML product range including fuels, LPG and lubricants to customers. Maintain existing customers by enhancing customer loyalty and value.
- Keep abreast of market developments and grab new opportunities by developing innovative CVPs Maintain high standards of HSSE at customer premises.
- Make use of financial reports to track customer profitability and conduct sales analyses.
- Give advice on general fuels and lubricants matters. Investigate, manage and resolve specific lubricants and/or fuels related problems.
- Product Stewardship Focal point. Provide technical response to field force and customers on lubricants amp; fuels spills advising on HSSE and disposal/treatment options.
- Provide general fuels and lubricants monitoring service to customers as guided by the businesses.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities / facilities for new products and assist with field trials in conjunction with product and market specialists as required. Develop DVRs and ensure that they are acknowledged and signed by customers.
- Participate in product training programmes as and when required.
- Adapt/develop CVP’s for building competitive advantage in order to protect existing businesses and secure new ones.

Requirements
Qualifications, Job Knowledge, Skills amp; Experience
- A degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Mechatronics)
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience
- Good team Player
- Business Acumen and Technical knowledge
- Innovation and Creativity
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining technical or commercial relationships with profitable customers across a range of market sectors would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and French languages.
