Warehouse Supervisor

The job incumbent will have the responsibility to assist the Logistics Lead in his / her daily tasks and to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and delivery of goods and promptly communicate any issues to the Logistics Lead and to concerned departments
• Determine and track most important warehouse KPIs
• Supervise and control order picking, goods in amp; goods out operations and ensure KPIs set are respected
• Adhere to Health and safety procedures and ensuring same is understood and practiced by team members at all times
• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock quantities are in line with the theoretical stock quantities
• Oversee and plan maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered and constantly find ways for improvement
• Conduct checks on products in picking zones to ensure that the quantities picked corroborate with the request of the client and quality is in line with the standard set
• Planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse
• Any other duties related to this position

Requirements

• Minimum Higher School Certificate
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, honest and trustworthy
• Deadline oriented
• Fully conversant with MS office applications
