Job Description

The role of the Sales Support is to provide outstanding service to existing customers as well as to potential customers using a wide range of tools by providing sales support and administrative assistance to the pool comprising of B2B Sales, Retail Sales, Aviation and Marine Sales, Lubes Sales, Marketing amp; Customer Service Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts that have been allocated by making pro-active telephone calls to customers and planned chasing of allocated debtors.
  • Understand the needs of customers and provide sound information and advice on our products and services.
  • Maintain and develop existing businesses through cross and up-selling.
  • Implement telemarketing and direct marketing campaigns with strong focus on developing new business relationships.
  • Seek new opportunities to increase the number of new customers to Vivo Energy in collaboration with Account Managers.
  • Provide and analyse relevant management information regarding different products.
  • Assist sales team with new customer creation.
  • Plan, monitor and achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Plan and organise marketing events in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
  • Work within a busy results-focused environment to provide courteous, polite and helpful service with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Channel queries / requests from customers to the relevant Most Appropriate Service Provider as and when necessary in a very timely manner and proactively ensure resolution.
  • Provide administrative services to the pool including typing letters, faxes, and any other miscellaneous documents and ensure that documents and correspondence are properly filed and can easily be retrieved.
  • Organise training sessions, workshops and retailer reward events.
  • Follow up purchases by the department and ensure payment.
  • Discharge duties in compliance with the various policies, rules and regulations set by the company. These include the Statement of Business Principles, the HSSE Policy, the Drugs and Alcohol Policy and the Code of Ethics.


Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills amp; Experience

  • Higher School Certificate or any equivalent.
  • Any degree/diploma from a recognized institution would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 2 years working experience in sales/telesales.
