Marketing Assistant

Job Purpose

The job incumbent’s role will be to support the Head of Marketing in the daily operations of the marketing department.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement the marketing strategies and campaigns organized by the department and follow-up with both internal and external team.
• Perform market research studies regularly on new trends through surveys, polls, and other methods to stay up to date on the changing market behaviour and culture.
• Actively participate and help organize the promotional events and campaigns organized by the department.
• Prepare and deliver presentations
• Update marketing budget
• Track competitor’s communication / adverts
• Ensure that all product adverts and communication are properly reflected in stores through POSMs.
• Ensure proper filling of communication / adverts.
• Be dutiful to the department and its executives and aid them in executing all tasks.

Requirements

• BSc Marketing Management
• Experience in dealing with advertising agencies for follow up of press adverts, brochures, and media planning
• Administration skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, proof reading and collating various information
• Highly organized
• Fully conversant with MS Office
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
