Job Description

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the job incumbent’s role is to grow and develop the Corporate amp; Projects segment by driving and generating sales leads and offering integrated product solutions to customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and coordinating all activities and operations of the Corporate/Project Sales department to ensure optimum sales and service
  • Developing, maintaining and improving relationships with key accounts to maintain a high level of service, client loyalty and ensure continuous expansion with them
  • Looking for and establishing contact with prospective customers and clients for their company
  • Researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads and targeting potential clients
  • Follow up leads generated by contacts, websites, newspapers, networking and database
  • Analyze business trend with a view to develop sales strategies to tackle new opportunities/new segments
  • Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
  • Create, negotiate, review and close commercial agreements
  • Keeping up to date on current market changes and trends to be able to come up with new and original sales strategies to meet sales targets
  • Keeping track of the competition and all new trends and products in the market
  • Identify/Attend functions such as business trade shows, seminars that would help in developing sales leads.
  • Channel development- Identify and propose new channels/New Projects/estate developments that represent sales opportunities

Requirements

  • Passionate about sales amp; technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management
  • At least 4 years’ experience in the sales field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong initiative skills, working both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent skills in teamwork, leadership and communication
  • Customer-oriented and Results driven
  • Ability to work efficiently on simultaneous assignments under tight deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Professional self-starter, high level of motivation, customer empathy and ethics
  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities
