Associate, Cost of Sales Operations at Checkout.com
Checkout.com is actively seeking an ambitious and talented Associate, Cost of Sales Operations with previous experience in the interchange and scheme fees domain to join our growing Finance team!
The Associate, Cost of Sales Operations will support the team on interchange and scheme fees related analyses, development, implementation and reporting. You'll act as an important link between Finance and Product/Technology to articulate and translate business requirements into coherent functionalities that can be easily implemented in Checkout.com pricing engine.
About you:

• 3+ years of experience in the Interchange and Scheme Pricing domain
• Good understanding of Card Schemes and Payments Processing
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with multidisciplinary partners
• Ability to quickly grasp sophisticated topics
• Flexible, adaptable and willing to maintain knowledge and skills with an emphasis on continuous learning about new trends
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with remote teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel required
• Experience with SQL server and BI tools is a plus
• A bachelor’s degree and other relevant specialised professional qualifications or training

What you will be doing:

• Review interchange and scheme fees updates from Card Schemes and other acquiring channels
• Interact with Card Schemes representatives on interchange and scheme fees research or inquiries
• Translate upcoming interchange and scheme fees updates into business requirements and implement these in Checkout.com pricing engine accurately
• Coordinate with Product and Technology on product or technical requirements relating to interchange and scheme fees updates implementation
• Collect, understand and convey interchange and scheme pricing business requirements for given projects (new features, product launches, global expansion)
• Assist with the building of interchange and scheme pricing tools, documents and education materials
• Review and promptly attend to requests through Checkout.com ticketing system
• Assist with training new joiners on tasks and internal tools, and with the preliminary review of outputs from analysts in the team
• Work closely with the Commercial Finance and Central Finance teams to streamline processes, review and action on recommendations regarding interchange and scheme fees billing reconciliation
