Retail Manager

Job Purpose

The job incumbent will be responsible for a portfolio of showrooms. He/She will be responsible for the performance and revenue of his assigned showrooms.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper operation and performance of a portfolio of Showrooms
• Provide guidance and support to Showroom Supervisors/Managers
• Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are consistently adhered to
• Monitor sales and set up actions plan with Showroom Supervisors/Managers to meet or exceed targeted budget
• Participate in regular progress meetings
• Any other duties related to this position

• Promote best practices in terms of merchandising and customer experience to provide to customer quality service together with a pleasant and effective buying experience
• Ensure that customer complaints are, as far as possible, avoided else promptly handled and solved whilst promoting customer satisfaction
• Ensure that stock management is properly carried out by Showroom Supervisors/Managers to minimize discrepancies
• Maintain staff morale and motivation, paying attention to the development of skills in a proactive manner and the shouldering of responsibilities
• Assist in interviewing, recruiting, and training of staffs
• Generate sales, stock, and technical reports

Requirements

• BSc Management
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field
• Holder of a valid driving license
• Outstanding ability to work with MS Office tools, including MS Excel
• Knowledge of ERP (preferably Navision) will be an advantage.
• Extensive customer service experience
• Proven organizational and analytical abilities
• Excellent people management, communication, and interpersonal skills
