Job Description

The job incumbent will be responsible for (i) managing and coordinating all activities within our After Sales Service Centre delivering positive operational performance results, leading and coordinating the different operational teams, thus driving efficiency, productivity and maximizing revenue (ii) responsible for the development and implementation of different business avenues within the Service Centre. The role also has direct responsibility for customer service delivery and the facilitation of core operations activities in the Service Centre


Roles amp; Responsibilities:

People Management:Is directly responsible for technician supervision and deployment through planning and scheduling. Is good at establishing clear directions; sets stretching objectives; distributes the workload appropriately; lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner; maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results; brings out the best in people; is a clear communicator.

Customer Focus: You are expected to (i) meet (and sometimes exceed) the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers (ii) establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect (iii) always act and take decision with the customer in mind

Decision Making: You will be required to make decisions in a timely manner and sometimes under tight deadlines and pressure.

Communication: To provide the information people need to know to do their jobs and to feel good about being a member of the team, unit, and/or the organization; provides individuals information so that they can make accurate decisions; is timely with information.

Managing and Measuring Work: Clearly assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions; sets clear objectives and measures; monitors process, progress, and results; designs feedback loops into work

Stock Management: Ensures that all stock management processesare adhered to

Complaints Management: Ensure that complaints are promptly handled to ensure customer’s understanding and/or satisfaction

Development : be responsible for the development of different business avenues within the Service Centre (i) to bring about more revenue and (ii) to be environmentally sustainable.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics or Electrical)
  • 3-5 years relevant industry experience preferred
  • Keen interest in environmentally friendly solutions and practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office and prior experience with an ERP system
  • Experience leading others in an operational and professional environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-work and customer service skills
  • Professional and effective communication skills with a high level of self-motivation, energy, accountability and commitment
  • Strong organizational skills and skilled at multi-tasking with flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and shifting priorities
  • Ability to prioritize and respond with the appropriate sense of urgency
