We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director to build and lead a sales system across Africa amp; globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategy, hiring staff, establishing critical relationships and playing a key role in executing strategies to achieve volume, ASP amp; turnover targets.
Primary Activities / Responsibilities
- Own and achieve annual sales targets (Volume, ASP, Turnover) according to an agreed model.
- Develop and execute strategies for growth in elected territories and industries.
- Develop and hone a deep understanding of the African business environment such that you understand the needs, challenges and wants of our customers.
- Establish partnerships with large organisations and bodies to secure multi-year sales deals or opportunities.
- Manage and grow relationships by assisting with after sales support and networking with existing customers.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
- Publish daily statistics on sales actuals vs targets.
- Work closely with the CEO to craft the business' strategy toward growth.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience amp; prowess.
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or salesperson.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-suite.
- Proven ability to develop amp; drive sales process.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Demonstrable experience developing strong sales relationships.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Willingness to work across all levels of the sales function to get the job done.
